This post will help you choose a topic.
How to Choose an Interview Presentation Topic
A good headline should have the following characteristics:
- You know about it.
- It gets you excited – and bonus points if it allows for entertainment or humor!
- It aligns with the interests of the audience.
- It keeps away from anything negative or controversial. Don't want to give a presentation about layoffs when interviewing with a company that recently downsized.
- It is focused and specific. For example, “How AI is changing retail logistics” is more compelling than the broader topic of “Artificial Intelligence.”
- Ideally, this is related to the company or stock, but this is not always necessary.
Interview presentation ideas
Brainstorm about…
- Solutions to challenges facing the organization (eg, “How automation can improve supply chain performance [Company Name]”).
- Industry trends such as “The Future of Remote Work and Collaboration in Marketing.”
- New Technologies: “How Blockchain Streamlines Small Business Accounting.”
- A project you led or contributed to demonstrates your skills.
- A fun but meaningful experience where you accomplished something useful or interesting.
