A student was injured after he was stabbed at Benjamin Franklin High School in Highland Park on Wednesday morning, officials said.
The incident of two students involved in the school at 8:30 am in front of the school, which is located in the 820 N. Avenue 54 in the north of the 110s, and the Los Angeles Integrated School District news has been sent to parents.
“Our school was placed in the lock; however, no other students or staff were affected by this incident. Our campus is now safe,” the news was read as part of the news.
“LAPD and Los Angeles School Police are investigating the incident in accordance with the district policy. A suspect was arrested by law enforcement.”
The school police spokesman confirmed that the suspect was a student, and that the victim was treated at the scene and was in a state of consistent.
Los Angeles Fire Department officials said that a call was received just before 9 am, saying that one person was stabbed on the school and did not take anyone by ambulance.
