Playboy model and actress Ariane Bellamar, who was seen in projects such as Suicide Squad and Beverly Hills Nannies, has died. She was 46.

Tanner Slaught, Bellamar’s ex-husband with whom she shares two daughters, announced her passing with a statement on Facebook in January.

“It is with great sadness that I am bringing out the news that on December 20th, 2024 – Ariane passed away,” Slaught wrote, later adding, “Her extremely early departure from this world has caught everyone off guard and we were not prepared for this.”

The statement included a link to a GoFundMe raising money for her funeral.

The fundraiser notes Bellamar died from a heart attack.

“While this unbelievable news is shocking because she was only 46, I can assure you that I have verified this truth,” Slaught wrote. As of the time of publication, the GoFundMe raised just north of $1,000.

Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, and raised in Toronto, Canada, Bellamar began acting as a young girl performing in local productions. One of her first paid roles was as an extra in HBO’s hit series Entourage, which is where she reportedly met Hugh Hefner and began modeling for Playboy, according to her IMDb biography.

She also reportedly met Pauly Shore on the set of Entourage, who helped her land her next role in his 2005 TBS comedy series Minding the Store.

She was also an extra in Love Hollywood Style, The Hangover Part III, and Suicide Squad.

Bellamar later forged a short-lived career in reality television with appearances in Jersey Couture, Hotel Hell and The Millionaire Matchmaker between 2012 and 2014. But she is best known for her arc in Beverly Hills Nannies, in which she starred in nine episodes.

Bellamar made headlines in 2017 after accusing Jeremy Piven of groping her on the set of Entourage and at the Playboy Mansion. Piven has since denied the claims.

Bellamar is survived by her two daughters.
