Eligibility Criteria

• Ph.D in Epidemiology/Public Health/ Social Sciences from a recognized university. (Essential)
• Eight years experience in Health Research (Essential)
• Two research publications in PubMed Indexed journals (Essential)
• Fluency in Malayalam (Essential)
• Experience in qualitative research methods and evidence synthesis (Desirable)
• Experience in managing clinical trials and mixed methods studies (Desirable)
• Ten Publications in peer reviewed indexed journals (Desirable)
• Willingness to travel. (Desirable)

Salary / Stipend

• Monthly emoluments: 93,600/- (Consolidated)

Age Limit

• 45 Years*
• *Age relaxation upto 5 years shall be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organisation in line ICMR Order No. 16/29/2023/Admn/E.Office No.157401 dated 18.10.2024 point (h).

Selection Process

• Walk-in-interview
• Depending on the number of candidates, a written test of qualifying nature will be conducted for initial screening and only qualified candidates will be called for interview. Marks obtained in the written test, if conducted, will not be counted for final ranking.

General Information / Instructions

• Temporary (Purely on contract), initially for a period of one year likely to be extended till 31.12.2028 or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier.
• Those who fulfil the above requirements may report for Interview, as per the above schedule at the Ground floor of AMCHSS building, along with Bio-data, original certificates and copies of certificates to prove age, qualification and experience at the time of interview.
• Time of Reporting: 10.00 am
• Venue: AMCHSS Building, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) at Medical College Campus, Thiruvananthapuram.
