Educational Qualification for Assam Rifles: 

• Matriculation from a recognised Board.

Sports Qualifications: 

• Participants in international competitions, national competitions, inter-university tournaments, national sports, school games, Khelo India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games, and Khelo India Winter Games.

Age Limit for Assam Rifles: (As on 09.02.2026)

1. Rifleman/ Riflewomen (GD) – 18 to 23 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• For SC/ ST Applicants: +10 years
• For Gen/OBC Applicants: +5 years
