Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: 10th + Diploma (MLT/DMLT) + two years experience in relevant subject/field OR Three Years Graduate degree in MLT + One year experience in Relevant Subject/field

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs. 18000/- + HRA as admissible

Age Limit (as on 21-01-2026)

• Not exceeding 28 Years (Relaxable up to 3 years for OBC & 5 years for SC/ST candidates as per GoI Instructions or refer to point (h) of ICMR notification no. 16/29/2023/Admn/E.Office No. 157401 dated 18.10.2024)

Selection Process

• Written test or Interview depending on the number of applications on 23.01.2026 by 9:30 AM
• The selection committee reserves the right to shortlist the candidates on the basis of a screening test
• Screening test and Interview will be held IN-PERSON ONLY at PGIMER Chandigarh. Online mode of interview will not be conducted

General Information / Instructions

• The candidates are advised to visit the institute website i.e. www.pgimer.edu.in (Information for Candidates) on regular basis for other updates and no separate intimation regarding the written test or interview will be sent
• Age relaxation will be given as per GoI rules or refer to point (h) of ICMR notification no. 16/29/2023/Admn/E.Office No. 157401 dated 18.10.2024
• The authority reserves the right to change/cancel the advertisement/selection process due to administrative issues
• Candidates for all the posts are required to join at the earliest
• The engagement of the individual in the post will be on a temporary basis till 31st March 2026 (may be extended based on performance and/or further extension from ICMR)
• The appointment can be terminated with one-month notice from either side without assigning any reason
• Since the post is purely temporary, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under PGIMER, Chandigarh
• Benefits of provident funds, CCA, Leave Travel Concession, Medical Claim etc. are not applicable
• The experience will be counted only after completion of essential educational qualification. Merely fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee selection for the above mentioned post
• Persons already in regular time-scale service under any Government Department/ Organisation are not eligible to apply
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the screening test/interview. No individual intimation will be given for the interview and the candidates should check the institute website for eligibility list and dates of test/interview
• OBC Caste Certificate must be in format provided by the DoPT vide OM No. 36036/2/2013-Estt.(Res) dated 30.05.2014. Certificate must be valid for employment in central Government Institution. OBC’s candidates’ eligibility will be based on castes born in the central list of Govt. of India. The OBC certificate should clearly show that the applicant does not belong to the creamy layer. In addition to the OBC category certificate, a declaration in the prescribed format as per Annexure II has to be furnished by the candidate during document verification, that he/she does not belong to creamy layer (OBC applicants not covered under the creamy layer, as per the standing instruction of the Government of India, as amended from time to time, seeking age relaxation, reservation, etc, shall invariably submit the requisite certificate as per format (Annexure-I).
