Educational Qualification for Sainik School Amaravathinagar: 

1. General Employee (MTS) (Regular Basis) – 
   • Essential Qualification:  Matriculation or equivalent from recognized Board/ University.

2. PEM/PTI – Matron (Female) (Contractual Basis) – 
   • Essential Qualification: 
     • Should have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination. 
     • should be able to speak English with ease.
     • Experience in handling the students in a residential school/ Institution and experience in housekeeping duties. 
     • The candidate should be physically fit.
   • Desired Qualification/Requirement:  
     • Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) – 4 yrs Degree Course OR Three years Graduation + One year B.P.Ed Diploma OR B.Sc Physical Education; Health Education & Sports + One year B.P.Ed Diploma. 
     • Ability to speak in Hindi/Tamil /English fluently.
     •  Extracurricular Activities Achievement in sports/ Art/ Music/ Extra Curricular activities.
3. Ward Boys (Contractual Basis) – 
   • Essential Qualification:  
     • Should have passed Matriculation or equivalent examination. 
     • should be able to speak Hindi/Tamil and English with ease.
     • Experience in handling the students in a residential school/ Institution and experience in housekeeping duties.
     • The candidate should be physically fit.
   • Desired Qualification/Requirement: 
     • Ex-servicemen will be given preference. 
     • Candidates with higher qualification from a recognised Institution. 
     • Previous experience in Sainik schools/ Boarding Schools/ Military Training Institution/ Military Schools.
