Airports Authority of India (AAI) Apprentice Notification 2026 has been released under advertisement number 02/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR on the official website https://www.aai.aero. A total of 133 vacancies have been announced through the AAI Apprentice Recruitment 2026 for Graduate, Diploma, and ITI candidates.

Candidates aged between 18 to 26 years who have Graduate/Diploma in Engineering or ITI in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) & Steno trades are eligible to apply for these Apprentice vacancies. Training Locations (Northern Region): Adampur, Agra, Aligarh, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Bathinda, Bikaner, CATC, Chitrakoot, Dehradun, Farrukhabad, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kishangarh, Kullu, Kushinagar, Leh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Moradabad, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi, etc. and various offices in New Delhi.

AAI Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality / Domicile: Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand are eligible.
• Qualification – Graduate / Diploma: Candidates must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in the above-mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
• Qualification – ITI Trade: Candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA) and Steno trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, Government of India.
• Year of Passing: Candidates who passed their degree/diploma in or after 2022 are eligible.
• Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates who have already completed or terminated their apprenticeship midway, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship in other organizations or in AAI with the same qualification level, are NOT eligible.
• Job Experience: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training/job experience for a period of 1 year or more after attaining the essential qualification are NOT eligible.
• Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.

AAI Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 26 Years
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other categories as per Government of India guidelines is applicable.

AAI Recruitment 2026 – Salary / Stipend

• Graduate (Degree) Apprentices: Rs. 15,000 per month

  • AAI Share: Rs. 10,500
  • Government Share (through DBT): Rs. 4,500

• Technical (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 12,000 per month

  • AAI Share: Rs. 8,000
  • Government Share (through DBT): Rs. 4,000

• Trade Apprentices (ITI): Rs. 9,600 per month
• Stipend is payable as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time).
• AAI has no obligation to offer regular employment to apprentices after completion of training. Apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from AAI on the basis of this apprenticeship at any point of time.
