Selection Process (Merit Based)

The selection of Vidyasahayak (Class 1 to 5 – Gujarati Medium) will be done on a purely merit basis as per the Government of Gujarat Education Department resolutions and the notified selection procedure.

District / Nagar Education Committees will prepare merit lists from eligible online applicants based on prescribed academic and TET‑1 scores and issue appointment orders against sanctioned vacancies.
How to Apply for Gujarat Vidyasahayak Recruitment 2026

Step 1 – Visit official website:
Go to the Vidyasahayak recruitment portal https://dpegujarat.in to submit the online application form. -
Step 2 – Fill online application form:
The online application form for Gujarat Vidyasahayak (Class 1 to 5 – Gujarati Medium) must be filled between 15 April 2026 (12:00 noon) and 24 April 2026 (3:00 pm) by entering personal details, educational qualification, D.El.Ed and TET‑1 details as required. -

Applicants currently in the final year/last semester of D.El.Ed who have already passed TET‑1 may apply now, but their D.El.Ed marks and mark‑sheet must be entered online after declaration of result within the facility provided on the portal; otherwise their candidature may not be considered for merit.
