Computer Based Test (CBT): 200 marks (objective; General Intelligence & Reasoning 50, GA 50, English 100); qualifying: 30% UR, 25% OBC/EWS, 20% others.

Skill Test in Stenography (Qualifying): Grade C: 100 wpm (English/Hindi); Grade D: 80 wpm (English/Hindi) (10 min dictation; 40% UR/EWS, 35% others pass marks).

Final Merit: Based on CBT marks (category-wise); All India Service Liability.
Pre-Employment Medical Exam (esp. for BRO posts with Physical Efficiency Test).
