Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University Admissions 2026-27: Applications are invited for admission to B.Sc, B.P.Ed, M.P.Ed, B.P.E.S, M.Sc, MBA, M.Tech Courses for the academic year 2026-27 in Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University.  This UG, PG admission is strictly for 12th, Any Degree Students.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• B.P.E.S., (Bachelor of Physical Education and Sports) – +2 or its equivalent and having at least participation in the Inter School competition in Sports and Games.
• B.Sc., Sports Biomechanics and Kinesiology – + 2 in science stream/ +2 with anyone of the subject in Maths/Statistics/ Computer Science/Physical Education
• B.Sc., Exercise Physiology and Nutrition – + 2 or Equivalent in Science Group
• B.Sc., Yoga – +2 or its equivalent
• B.Sc., Sports Coaching – + 2 or Equivalent with Proficiency in Sports & Games
• B.P.Ed., (Bachelor of Physical Education) (NCTE Approved) – Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and having at least participation in the Inter-School competition in Sports and Games in recognized competition
• M.P.Ed., (Master of Physical Education) (NCTE Approved) – Any Degree with B.P.Ed., (10+2+3) with Proficiency in Games & Sports with minimum participation at Inter-Collegiate level in recognized competition
• M.Sc Yoga – Any Degree

Age Limit:

• The upper age limit for admission to UG courses will be 21 (twentyone) years as on 1st July 2026. However, a relaxation of 5 years is permitted for differently abled candidates as per G.O.Ms.No.239, S.W.dated 3-9-93. 
• SC/SCA/ST/BC/BCM/MBC/DNC and women Applicants may be allowed age relaxation of 3 years beyond 21 years for the admission into UG Courses.

• Registration can be done only through online for all programmes. Scanned copies of educational qualifications should be enclosed. The filled in application along with the attachments must be downloaded and hard copy must be submitted at the time of admission.
