DRDO GTRE Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for DRDO GTRE: 

1. Graduate Engineering (BE / B.Tech) Apprentice – A Degree in the respective branch Engineering or Technology granted by a statutory university or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament
2. Diploma (Engineering) Apprentice – A Diploma in the respective branch of Engineering or Technology or equivalent qualification granted by a State Board of Technical Education or recognized by the State Government concerned or the Central Government 
3. ITI Trades – Candidates who have passed out of ITI with valid certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) in the respective trade
4. Graduate General – A Degree granted by a statutory university or by an institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament

Age Limit for DRDO GTRE:

•  Minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years as on 6th June 2026. Maximum age limit will be applied as per the provisions of Govt. of India.

• Academic Merit / written test / interview

• ITI Candidates must get enrolled on National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Online portal https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in of Govt. of India. 
• Other Applcaints must get enrolled on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Online portal https://nats.education.gov.in of Govt. of India.
