The vacancies are distributed across various categories including UR (Unreserved), SC (Scheduled Caste), ST (Scheduled Tribe), OBC (NCL – Non-Creamy Layer), EWS (Economically Weaker Section), and PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities). Ex-Servicemen (ExSM) reservations are applied horizontally.

After successful completion of training and regularization, candidates will be placed in the regular pay scale with all benefits applicable to NFL employees.
