The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started the online registration process on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for postgraduate and doctoral programmes in agriculture and allied sciences.
ICAR Admission 2026 applications are now open for AIEEA (PG) and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) programmes. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), this is the gateway for admission to postgraduate and doctoral degrees in Agriculture and Allied Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria 2026
- For AIEEA (PG) 2026: – Bachelor’s degree (4/5/6 years duration) in relevant subject from a recognized university. – Minimum OGPA / Marks: Generally 60% for General/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwD. – Age: Minimum 19 years as on 31 August 2026.
- For AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2026: – Master’s degree in relevant subject. – Age: Minimum 20 years as on 31 August 2026.
Application Fee 2026
- AIEEA (PG): – General / EWS / OBC: ₹1,300 – SC / ST / PwD: ₹675
- AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.): – General / EWS / OBC: ₹2,000 – SC / ST / PwD: ₹1,025
