Educational Qualification
- Ph.D. in Chemistry (with specialization in Peptides) / Biochemistry / Cell Biology / Microbiology or any closely related field.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis and are awaiting the award of their degree are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
- Maximum Age: 35 years as on the date of walk-in interview
- Age relaxation may be considered based on qualification and experience with approval of the competent authority.

Important Dates
Salary / Stipend
- Rs.58,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month.
- Rs.42,000/- + 30% House Rent Allowance per month for candidates who have submitted their thesis and will be designated as Senior Research Fellow.
- Initial appointment period is 6 months, extendable based on performance and continuation of the project.
Instructions
- The appointment is purely temporary and will terminate automatically on completion of the project.
- The appointed person shall have no claim of appointment or absorption in IISER Pune or the funding agency.
- Educational qualifications must be obtained from recognized universities or institutions.
- The number of posts may vary depending upon requirements during the selection process.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
