Eligibility Criteria
For Assistant Professor-cum-Medical Specialist (Critical Care Intensivist):
Essential Qualifications:
- Medical qualification included in Schedule I and II or Part II of the third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956/NMC Act 2019 (candidate possessing the qualifications included in Part II of the third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in Section 13(3) of the Act)
- A postgraduate qualification, i.e. MD/MS in Medical/Surgical Disciplines (Paediatrics/Medicine/Anaesthesia/Surgery/Orthopaedic Surgery) or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto
- 3 years teaching and/or research experience after obtaining the postgraduate degree in Medical/Surgical Disciplines viz. Paediatrics/Medicine/Anaesthesia/Surgery/Orthopaedic Surgery or qualification recognized equivalent thereto
- Two years’ experience, out of the above three years, should be in a recognized Intensive Care Unit providing Intensive Service including post Cardiac Surgical patient care
Desirable Qualifications:
- Patents filed/obtained
- Publication of books and/or technical reports
Age Limit
- Maximum Age Limit: 45 years
- Age relaxation as per government rules may apply to eligible candidates
Salary / Stipend
- The monthly salary for the position of Assistant Professor-cum-Medical Specialist (Critical Care Intensivist) is Rs. 1,01,500/- (Consolidated)
