Subordinate Services Selection Board (SSSB), Punjab has issued SSSB Punjab Junior Engineer Recruitment 2026 Advertisement No. 7 of 2026 for recruitment to Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Mechanical) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) posts in Group-B services under various departments of Punjab Government. Eligible candidates holding 3-year Diploma in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or higher qualifications can apply online for Punjab JE Vacancy 2026 from 13 March 2026 to 06 April 2026 through the official website sssb.punjab.gov.in. The SSSB JE 2026 selection will be conducted through objective type written examination and the pay scale is Level-6 with Rs. 35,400/- per month.

1) Educational Qualification
Additional Mandatory Requirement:

As per Punjab Civil Services (General and Common Conditions of Service) Rules, 1994, Rule 17: Candidates must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects OR any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language as specified by Punjab Government.
Cut-off Date for Qualification:
2) Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
Note: State & Central Government employees must produce NOC (No Objection Certificate) from their department at the time of counselling to avail age relaxation.
3) Nationality & Domicile

Candidates must be residents/domiciled in Punjab State to avail reservation benefits.

Valid Domicile/Residence Certificate of Punjab State (not older than 5 years at the time of counselling) is mandatory for all categories (male/female).
