The National Centre for Earth Science Studies has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. NCESS/P&GA/9424/02/2026) to fill the 25 MTS, TA, Scientific Administrative Assistant, Field Assistant, Hindi Translator, Project Associate & Plumber Posts. Candidates may get the details of On-line Application, Detailed Advertisement, General Instructions and apply Online on the official Web-site of this National Centre for Earth Science Studies i.e. https://www.ncess.gov.in/. The link for submission of On-line Application Form will remain active from 12.03.2026 to 10.04.2026. 

Eligible candidates with qualifications 10th, ITI, Diploma, B.Sc, Master’s Degree, CA/CMA can apply online. Candidates should note that the primary work locations for these posts are Thiruvananthapuram. Registered candidates will receive a link to download their exam hall tickets via email approximately 4 to 7 days prior to the examination date.

NCESS Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for NCESS:

1. Hindi Translator – 
   • Essential:  Master’s Degree in Hindi  Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa 
   • Desirable: Two years’ experience in translation and implementation of official language policy in any Central Government establishment.
2. Project Associate II – 
   • Essential:  CA/CMA (Inter) or M. Com or MBA (Finance)  2 years’ experience in Finance & Accounts (preferably in Govt. organization) OR  Post Graduation in any discipline/MBA  2 years’ experience in administrative work (preferably in Govt. organization) 
   • Desirable:  PG Diploma in Public Relations
3. Project Associate I – 
   • Essential:  Post Graduation in Commerce  1 year experience in Finance & Accounts (preferably in Govt. organization) 
   • Desirable: Degree/Diploma/Certificate Course in Computer, Basic operational knowledge in Computer. OR  Post Graduation in any discipline  1 year experience in administrative work (preferably in Govt. organization)
4. Technical Assistant – 
   • Essential:  B.Sc from a recognized University/ Institute OR  Graduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. OR  Three years Diploma in Computer Science. 
   • Desirable:  Working knowledge with Go Lang, Vue.js, PostgreSQL and in the development of fullstack web-based applications in PHP.  Three years of work experience in NIC eOffice Application.  Experience in R&D institutions in the relevant field
5. Field Assistant (Electrical) – 
   • Essential: 3 years Diploma Holders in Electrical Engineering 
   • Desirable:  2 years’ experience in Electrical related works in any State Govt./ PSU/ Central Govt. institutions  Good communication skills in English/ Hindi. Nature of Duties:  Operation and Maintenance of DG Set & Transformer and related works as and when required by NCESS.
6. Scientific Administrative Assistant – 
   • Essential: Graduate degree in any discipline 
   • Desirable:  2 years experience in Govt. / Private Organizations in Administrative work.  Degree/Diploma/Certificate Course in Computer, Basic operational knowledge in Computer.
7. Plumber –
   • Essential: ITI (Plumbing) 
   • Desirable: 2 years’ experience in Plumbing works. 
8. Multi Tasking Staff on contract – 
   • Essential: Matriculation or equivalent pass
