DGQA Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for DGQA: 

1. Stenographer Grade – II – 
   • 10+2 or equivalent pass from any recognized Board or University. 
   • Skill Test norms: Dictation – 10 mts @ 80 words per minute (WPM); Transcription – 50 mts (Eng), 65 mts (Hindi) (on computer).
2. CMD (OG) – 
   • Matriculation or equivalent from any accredited Board or University. 
   • Professional skill in driving, knowledge of motor mechanics, general smartness and holding of a valid permanent license for driving cars and heavy vehicles, with at least 04 years experience in driving. 
3. Carpenter – 
   • Matriculation or equivalent from any accredited Board or University. 
   • Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in the specified trade or equivalent. 
   • Two years experience in the field of work. 

Age Limit for DGQA: (As on 24.04.2026)

1. Stenographer Gr – II – 18 to 27 Years
2. CMD (OG) – 18 to 27 Years 
3. Carpenter – 18 to 37 Years 

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• +5 Years for ST/SC  
• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)

How to Submit an Application:

• Duly completed application in the prescribed format as per Appendix- ‘A-II’ typed in English (in A4 size paper) along with admit card as per Appendix ‘A III’ in duplicate. 
• One self-addressed envelope (size approximately 25 cm x 10 cm) should be enclosed with the application form for sending the call letter. 
• Three recent passport size photographs: one duly affixed in the appropriate box on the application form and the other two self-signed, affixed in the appropriate boxes (one each) on the admit cards. 
• The envelope must be clearly superscribed on the top as “APPLICATION FOR POST OF __________ and CATEGORY __________ i.e. SC/ ST/OBC/UR/ESM/PWBD” and sent by Speed Post only to: Chief Quality Assurance Establishment (Eastern Fleet Stores), Near NSTL, Opposite Raithu Bazar, Marripalem Post, Visakhapatnam – 530018
