MECON Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum Educational Qualification as on 10.03.2026

• Full time (4 years) regular B.E. (Civil)/ B. Tech (Civil) degree. Preference shall be given to Applicants who have graduated from Govt. Engineering Institutes falling under the category of ‘Institute of National Importance’ identified by the Ministry of Education. PG Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Construction Management, is preferred

Post Qualification work experience as on 10.03.2026:

1. Manager (Civil) (E-3 grade) – Minimum 09 (Nine) years of Civil (except Structural Steel & Road) Construction experience at site, preferably at Industrial Plant 
2. Senior Manager (Civil) (E-4 grade) – Minimum 13 (Thirteen) years of Civil (except structural steel & Road) Construction experience at site, preferably at Industrial Plant.

Age Limit for MECON: (As on 10.03.2026)

1. Manager (Civil) (E-3 grade) – 36 Years
2. Senior Manager (Civil) (E-4 grade) – 40 Years

Relaxation of Upper age limit:

• +3 Years for OBC (NCL)
