KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 30 April 2026):

  • Graduation from a recognized University / Institute in India
  • Proficient knowledge of Hindi and English language

Age Limit (as on 30 April 2026):

  • Minimum: 21 years
  • Maximum: 35 years

Domicile: The candidate must hold Domicile of the state of Uttarakhand (the state in which the bank has its area of operation).

Other Conditions:

  • The candidate can be posted / transferred to any existing / proposed Branches or Offices of the Bank as per banking exigencies
  • Candidates shall abide by the terms and conditions of the bank as mentioned in the Code of Conduct and appointment letter at time of joining

KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026 – Pay Scale & Remuneration

Selected candidates will be appointed on probation for a period of two years as Assistant Grade-II (Clerk/Cashier) on a pay scale of 21,346-1386-10-35206-EB-1572-15-58786.

Security Deposit: Selected candidates will be required to submit a refundable security amount of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) at the time of joining service.

KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee

Fee is non-refundable. Payment can be made online through Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards, or Mobile Wallets. Bank transaction charges will have to be borne by the candidate.

KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026 – Examination Scheme

The Online Written Examination will consist of 5 objective tests for a total of 200 marks and a duration of 145 minutes. There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Each question has 5 answer choices.

Penalty: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. Cutoffs are applied at two stages: on individual test scores and on total score.

Exam Centres:

Choice of centre once exercised will be final. No request for change of centre/venue/date will be entertained.

KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

Stage 1 – Online Written Examination: Candidates who qualify the Online Written Test will be considered for selection. Selection will be purely on merit basis based on marks obtained in the Online Written Test, conducted through IBPS.

Stage 2 – Medical Fitness: Appointment letters will be issued on merit basis subject to candidates being found medically fit for the assignment.

The Bank reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

How to Apply for KNSB Assistant Grade-II Recruitment 2026

Step 1 – Before applying, scan and keep ready your Photograph (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm, 20–50 KB), Signature (black ink on white paper, 10–20 KB), Left Thumb Impression (black/blue ink on white paper, 20–50 KB), and a Handwritten Declaration (black ink on white paper, 50–100 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.

Step 2 – Visit the bank’s official website at kurmanchalbank.bank.in, click on “KNSB CARES” → “CAREER” → “APPLY NOW”.

Step 3 – Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID. Note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password received on your email/SMS.

Step 4 – Fill in all required personal, educational, and other details in the online application form carefully. Use “SAVE AND NEXT” to save progress.

Step 5 – Upload Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwritten Declaration as per the prescribed specifications.

Step 6 – Preview the complete application form. Click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” only after verifying all details. No changes will be allowed after this.

Step 7 – Proceed to the Payment tab and pay the application fee of Rs. 1,000/- online. Wait for confirmation — do not press Back or Refresh to avoid double charge. Take a printout of the e-Receipt.

Step 8 – Download and take a printout of the system-generated online application form for future reference.

Step 9 – Download Call Letter from kurmanchalbank.bank.in when notified via email/SMS before the examination.

Documents to Carry at Examination Centre

  • Printout of Call Letter with recent passport-size photograph affixed
  • Currently valid Photo Identity Proof (original + photocopy): Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Permanent Driving License, Voter’s Card, or valid College/University ID Card with photo
  • Note: Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are NOT valid ID proof
  • Name on Call Letter must exactly match the name on Photo Identity Proof
