This online facility will be available on the Official website @ https://sportsauthorityofindia.nic.in/ from 23.03.2026 to 21.04.2026 at 05.00 PM. SAI Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for SAI: (As on 15.02.2026)

• Diploma or equivalent in coaching from SAI NS-NIS, Patiala or from any other recognized Indian / Foreign University. OR 
• Participation in Olympic Games/Paralympic Games/Asian Games/World Championship with Certificate Course in Coaching. OR 
• Dronacharya Awardee

Age Limit for SAI: (As on 15.02.2026)

1. Assistant Coaches – 30 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

• For SC/ ST Applicants: +5 years
• For OBC Applicants: +3 years 

Pay Scale for SAI:

1. Assistant Coaches – Level 6 -Rs.35,400/- – Rs.1,12,400/-

• Written Examination (CBT) 
• Coaching Ability Test
