Prelims Exam Pattern
The Prelims is an objective-type screening test with two papers of 100 marks each (total 200 marks). Paper I (General Studies) counts for shortlisting; Paper II (CSAT) is qualifying (minimum 33% required). Negative marking of 0.25 applies.
Mains Exam Pattern
The Mains is descriptive with six compulsory papers (total 600 marks), each of 3 hours duration. No optional subjects (shift from previous pattern). Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks in language papers.
