Complete Eligibility Criteria
1. Nationality & Character
- Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India, a Tibetan refugee (pre-1972), or a person of Indian origin migrated from specific countries with the intent of permanent settlement.
- Character: The candidate’s character must be suitable for High Court service; those dismissed by Government authorities or convicted of serious offences are ineligible.
- Marital Status: Individuals with more than one living spouse are disqualified.
2. Educational Qualification & Experience
As of 01.01.2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Qualification: B.C.A. / I.T.I. / Diploma from a Polytechnic in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Electronics & Communication.
- Experience: A minimum of 01 year of relevant experience is mandatory.
- Preferential Qualification: Preference is given to those who served in the Territorial Army (min. 2 years) or hold an NCC ‘B’ certificate, all other factors being equal.
3. Physical Fitness
- Candidates must be in good mental and physical health.
- A medical certificate from a Government Hospital (Deputy Superintendent rank or above) is required at the time of joining.
