The Indian Air Force has released its latest official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) to fill the 47 Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) Posts. The application form should be downloaded in PDF format from the official website @ https://indianairforce.nic.in/. The last date for the receipt of Filled application along with all enclosures is 31.05.2026. Before submitting an application, candidates must carefully read the Indian Air Force Group C 2026 notification and verify their eligibility.

Indian Air Force Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for Indian Air Force: 

1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) [Time allowed 10 minutes]
2. Hindi Typist – 12th Class pass from a recognized Board. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) [Time allowed 10 minutes]
3. Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver (Ordinary Grade) – Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university; Must be holding a valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles; Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism; Minimum two years’ experience in driving motor vehicles.

Age Limit for Indian Air Force: (As on 31.05.2026)
