A total of 40 vacancies have been announced across 19 posts in Group A, Group B, and Group C categories. All posts are distributed across UR, SC, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories. Horizontal reservation for PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) and ESM (Ex-Servicemen) is also included as applicable. IISER Mohali Non-Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of application (15/06/2026). All qualifications must be from recognized Universities/Institutions only. Mere possession of minimum essential qualifications does not entitle candidates to be called for written test/skill test/interview. Candidates should furnish all qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed along with documentary evidence. The Institute reserves the right to relax experience for persons with a brilliant academic career or specialized skills in exceptional cases.

Age limit shall be determined as on the last date for receipt of online applications (15/06/2026). Age relaxation in upper age limit will be as per Government of India norms. Candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation must attach supporting certificates. For Institute’s own employees, there is no upper age limit, subject to at least one year of service remaining till superannuation on the last date of application submission. OBC-NCL certificate must be issued within 2 years of the last date of receipt of applications. EWS certificate must be issued for Financial Year 2025-26.

The application fee must be paid online at the time of submission. Candidates applying for more than one post need to pay the application fee separately for each post. In case of cancellation of a post, GST will not be refunded.
IISER Mohali Non-Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process consists of multiple stages conducted by the Scrutiny/Selection Committee of IISER Mohali. The minimum qualifying marks for written/interview/skill tests will be as per standards fixed by the Institute at its discretion. The scheme of examination and syllabus for all posts will be announced at a later date on the Institute’s website. Mere fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a call for test/interview.
Candidates selected to appear for the interview for Group A posts shall be reimbursed travel fare as follows – By Railways: AC II Tier; By Airways: up to 1000 km: Rs. 12,000/-; 1001–1500 km: Rs. 18,000/- (or actual, whichever is less); above 1500 km: Rs. 24,000/-. Air/Rail fare reimbursement is only on production of authentic tickets booked via authorized travel agents as per DoPT OM dated 29.08.2022.

Applications must be submitted online only at erp.iisermohali.ac.in. Applications received in hard copy format or any other mode will be summarily rejected. The last date is 15/06/2026 up to 05:00 PM. Candidates are advised to submit well before the closing date to avoid connectivity issues due to heavy load on the website. Once submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn under any circumstances and no editing will be allowed. All correspondence including admit cards will be sent to the registered email ID only – no hard copy letters will be sent.

Important Instructions for IISER Mohali Non-Faculty Recruitment 2026 Candidates
- The applicant must be a citizen of India. All posts are regular and permanent (except Lien vacancies).
- Selected candidates will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS).
- Candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position before applying – minimum essential qualifications are compulsory regardless of higher qualifications held.
- CGPA to percentage conversion will be done as per formula of the degree-awarding institution.
- OBC-NCL certificate must have been issued within 2 years of the last date of application and a self-declaration (Annexure-I) must also be submitted.
- EWS certificate must be valid for Financial Year 2025-26 and clearly state the same.
- If caste/category certificate is in a language other than Hindi or English, a certified translation must be produced at the time of interview/document verification.
