The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification (Advt. No. NF (03)/Regular/2026) to fill Non Teaching vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Indian Institute of Science Education and Research i.e. https://www.iisermohali.ac.in/. Educational Qualification for IISER Mohali:

1. Superintending Engineer –
   • Qualification:  B.E. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering with first class or its equivalent Grade with good academic record from an accredited University/Institute. 
   • Experience: 5 years 
2. Deputy Registrar – 
   • Qualification:  Master’s degree with at least Fifty Percentage marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale and; 
   • Experience: 5 years 
3. Deputy Librarian – 
   • Qualification:  1. A Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least Fifty Percentage marks or an equivalent grade in a point–scale, wherever the grading system is followed. 2. A Ph.D. Degree in library science/ information science /documentation /archives and manuscript-keeping. 
   • Experience: 8 years 
4. Principal Technical Officer (Grade-II) (Lab) – 
   • Qualification:  B.E. / B.Tech. or M.Sc. Degree / BS-MS, in concerned field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) and consistently excellent Academic record. 
   • Experience: 5 years 
5. Senior Technical Officer (IT) – 
   • Qualification:  B.E. / B.Tech. or M.Sc./ BS-MS Degree, in concerned field with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10-point scale) and consistently excellent Academic record.

9. Senior Technical Assistant – 
   • Qualification:  B. Tech / B.E. or M.C.A. / M. Tech. / M.Sc. (CS or IT) with first class or equivalent grade OR Master’s Degree in Science with at least Fifty Percentage marks or its equivalent grade, in concerned discipline. 
   • Experience: 5 years
10. Physical Education Instructor –
    • Qualification:  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education/Sports Sciences with minimum of Fifty Percentage marks or equivalent grade with concerned fulltime work experience of three years after Bachelor’s Degree. 
    • Desirable: 1. Diploma in coaching from NIS or any equivalent Institute/Master’s degree in Physical Education/Sports Science & should qualify in the physical fitness test in accordance with the concerned regulations of UGC as part of the selection process. 2. Applicants should have specialization in at least one sport such as Weightlifting, Tennis, Squash, Volleyball, Hockey, Swimming, Football, Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton. 3. Medal winners in inter-university/ national games will be given preference. 4. At least one year of work experience in Govt/Autonomous Bodies or University or College.
11. Counsellor –
    • Qualification:  Master’s Degree (with Fifty Percentage) in psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) with practical experience. 
    • Experience: 5 years
12. Nurse – 
    • Qualification:  Master’s Degree (with Fifty Percentage marks) in nursing from recognized University / Institutions. OR First Class Degree in B.Sc. (Nursing) (4-year course) from an accredited Institute/ University. AND Should be registered as Nurses & Midwife in Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council. 
    • Experience: 5 years 
13. Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical) – 
    • Qualification:  Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/HVAC/Civil Engineering with first class from a recognized University /Institute. With at least 5 years of field experience OR Diploma in Electrical/HVAC/Civil Engineering first class from a recognized University/Institute. With at least 8 years of field experience
14. Junior Translator (Rajbhasha) – 
    • Qualification:  Master’s degree of an accredited University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Graduate level; OR Master’s degree of an accredited University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the Graduate level; OR Master‟s degree of an accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level; OR Master‟s degree of an accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of an examination at the Graduate level; OR Master‟s degree of an accredited University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.     • Qualification:  Bachelor’s Degree (with Fifty Percentage) in Pharmacy from an Institution recognized by the Central or State Govt. Should be registered as a “Pharmacist” under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
