Educational Qualification for CIL:
- MT (Civil) (Post Code 11) – Degree in the relevant branch of Engg. With a minimum of Sixty Percentage marks
- MT (Electrical) (Post Code 12) – Degree in the relevant branch of Engg. With a minimum of Sixty Percentage marks
- MT (Mechanical) (Post Code 13) – Degree in the relevant branch of Engg. With a minimum of Sixty Percentage marks
- MT (System) (Post Code 14) – Recognized 1st Class Degree in BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / I.T or any 1st Class Degree with MCA
- MT (E&T) (Post Code 15) – BE/B.tech/B.Sc (Engg) in relevant branch of Engineering with minimum Sixty Percentage marks.
- MT (Geology) (Post Code 16) – M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Geology or Applied Geology or Geophysics or Applied Geophysics with minimum Sixty Percentage marks
- MT (Industrial Engineering) (Post Code 17) – Degree in the relevant branch of Engg. With a minimum of Sixty Percentage marks

Pay Scale for CIL:
