A total of 49 PwBD backlog/shortfall vacancies have been announced under this special recruitment drive. Vacancies are distributed in Grade III and Grade VII posts. These are reserved exclusively for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) from Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. The number of vacancies is tentative and subject to change.
PwBD Category-wise Breakup (Grade III + Grade VII): Category a: 14, Category b: 17, Category c: 0, Category d&e: 18.

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the crucial date i.e. 08-06-2026. Only candidates possessing the exact prescribed qualifications should apply.
Note: Trade/Diploma Apprentices of OIL who have completed training successfully will get additional age relaxation and preference as per rules.

Age limit is calculated as on the crucial date i.e. 08-06-2026. PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation over and above category-wise relaxation.
Additional relaxations are applicable for Ex-Servicemen (PwBD), OIL employees, Work Contract Labourers, and Apprentices as per company rules. Maximum age under any circumstance is subject to specific relaxations mentioned in the notification.

Selection will be done through a single stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification. There is no interview.
