The CBSE has released the public notice for CTET September 2026. The online application form is expected to be available from 11.05.2026. There is no provision to choose the examination city; it will be allotted randomly. No requests for city change will be accepted.

Note: Exam may also be held on 05 September 2026 (Saturday) if the number of candidates is high.
CTET September 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Paper I (Classes 1 to 5): Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/B.El.Ed) or equivalent.
Paper II (Classes 6 to 8): Graduation degree with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed or equivalent.
Age Limit: No age limit (as per CBSE rules).
