The Indian Navy has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification to fill 15 SSC (IT) – Jan 27 course vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this Indian Navy i.e. https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 16.05.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 01.06.2026.

Eligible candidates with qualifications B.E/B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA can apply online. Candidates should note that the primary Job locations for these posts are All Over India. Registered candidates will receive a link to download their exam hall tickets via email approximately 4 to 7 days prior to the examination date.

Indian Navy Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification for Indian Navy: 

A candidate must have minimum Sixty Percentage marks in English in class X or XII and one of the undermentioned educational qualification with minimum Sixty Percentage overall qualifying marks, in either or a combination of the following: –

• MSc / BE / B Tech / M Tech (Computer Science (CS) / Computer Science & Engineering / Computer Engineering / Information Technology (IT) / Software Systems / Cyber Security / System Administration & Networking / Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Computer Systems & Networking / Data Analytics), OR 
• MCA with BCA / BSc (Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT)).

Note: 

• These vacancies are tentative and may be changed depending on availability of training slots. 
• Only one application can be filled by a candidate. In case of multiple applications, candidature will be cancelled. 
• NCC Candidates. NCC ‘C’ certificate holders will be given relaxation of 5% in cut off marks towards shortlisting for SSB subject to meeting the following criteria:-
  • Having NCC ‘C’ certificate of Naval / Army / Air Wing with minimum ‘B’ Grade. 
  • Served for not less than 02 (Two) Academic years in the Senior Division, Naval / India Army / Air Wing of the NCC. 
  • ‘C’ certificate should not be dated prior to 01.01.2024.

• Born Between (Both Dates inclusive) 01 Jan 2002 to 01 Jul 2007
