Indian Navy SSC IT Officer Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of online application (01-06-2026). Only unmarried Indian citizens are eligible to apply. Candidates must have minimum 60% marks in English in Class X or Class XII. The qualifying degree must be from a University incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India, or educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared deemed Universities/Autonomous Universities under UGC Act 1956, IIT Act 1961, AICTE Act 1987, NITSER Act 2007, or IIIT Act 2014. Foreign university degrees are also accepted if the institution is recognised by the Government of India or holds an Engineering Degree equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU Act 1973).
Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree (regular/integrated) are also eligible to apply.
