NHRC is inviting applications for empanelment of Young Professionals as Junior Research Consultants. The number of positions will be as per actual requirement approved by the Commission from time to time. This is not a regular recruitment but an empanelment for contractual engagement.
NHRC Junior Research Consultants Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification:
- LLB OR
- Post Graduate in Social Science such as Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Social Work, Human Rights, Developmental Communications, etc.
- Minimum 60% marks from any recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications:
- M.Phil, LLM, Ph.D, additional qualifications, research experience, published papers, and post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
Experience:
- One year research experience in Government / Reputed Semi-Governmental Organizations / International Development Agencies / Research Organizations / NGOs OR
- One year legal experience.
- (Internship / Training experience will not be considered)
Age Limit:
- Candidates should be below 32 years of age as on the date of advertisement.
NHRC Junior Research Consultants Remuneration & Other Benefits
Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 70,000/- per month (Inclusive of Taxes). No dearness or other allowances. – Annual enhancement of Rs. 5,000/- in remuneration. – Official travel entitlement (AC 2 Tier Rail / Economy Air) with hotel, taxi, and food reimbursement as per rules. – Leave: 1.5 days per completed month (no accumulation beyond calendar year).
NHRC Selection Process
Applications will be screened by a Screening Committee. Shortlisted candidates will be called for a Personal Interview by a Selection Committee. Final empanelment will be based on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
