The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chennai has officially announced a massive 2026 recruitment Notification to fill 08 Project Engineer (IoT), Project Associate (Training), Project Engineer (VLSI), Project Engineer (Full Stack Development), Business Development Executive, Office Assistant vacancies. The applicants satisfying the requisite qualification may apply through ONLINE MODE only, Apply Online on the official Web-site of this National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Chennai i.e. https://www.nielit.gov.in/. The online application portal will be opened on 15.05.2026 for filling online applications and the date for closing the online application interface is 29.05.2026.

Prospective applicants possessing ITI, B.E/B.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc degrees are invited to submit their applications via the online portal. 1. Project Engineer (IoT)
2. Essential Qualification: B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/M.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering/Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or NIELIT B-level or MCA/ M.Sc in Computer Science/ Statistics/ Mathematics with Good knowledge of Programming with minimum 2 years past qualification experience in IOT 
3. Project Associate (Training)
4. Essential Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech. (Computer Science/Computer Engg/ Information Technology/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation/ Electronics/Electronics & Communication), M.Sc (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Physics) or equivalent with First class from recognized university/institution. 
5. Project Engineer (VLSI)
6. Essential Qualification: B.E/ B. Tech. (Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engg/ Information Technology/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics & Communication), M.Sc (Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Applied Electronics/ Physics) or equivalent with First class from a recognized university/institution

12. Essential Qualification:  Must Have passed matriculation with ITI electrical trade or equivalent from a recognized board.  Must have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Electrical, UPS, DG Set maintenance, Supporting day to day admin office activities.
